Nucleus Link – the sample roaster that roasts the same everywhere

Whether in the roastery's lab or out in the middle of a farm at 1'800 meters above sea level: the Nucleus Link delivers a consistent roast, regardless of external conditions. That's exactly what this high-precision convection roaster is built for – as a shared language between coffee producers and roasteries, and as a reliable companion on farm visits. It's delivered in a shock-resistant, waterproof case, along with accessories to determine bean density.

The principle: a hot airstream (fluid bed), an open bean sensor that measures temperature directly at the bean, and a PID that guides the roast along a preset temperature curve. The companion app determines calibration based on your current altitude and suggests the right profile based on density and processing – so roasts stay comparable no matter where you run them. Over 400 roast profiles across four categories (cupping, filter, espresso, omniroast) come pre-loaded, and you can create unlimited profiles of your own. How you roast in the end is your call – what counts is that the coffee tastes good to you. That's our view, one of many.

Who the Nucleus Link is for

For anyone who needs reproducible sample roasts – from the growing country to the roastery – and just as much for quality-minded home roasters who like precision. For density testing, you use the included container together with a standard kitchen or coffee scale (not included). If you'd rather get your beans already roasted, you'll find them in our coffee beans; the matching grinder is in our coffee grinders.

Experience it in the showroom
You can see the Nucleus Link live at our showrooms – in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zürich Oerlikon at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Financing is possible.
