Weber Workshops Salt and Pepper Mill with Stand
When a grinder manufacturer designs a salt and pepper mill, it shows in the details: the same manufacturing philosophy as coffee grinders, translated for the dining table.
Coffee Coaching Club is the exclusive Swiss importer of Weber Workshops.
What sets the mills apart
The bodies are made of precisely machined, anodized aluminum, the shafts of 316L marine-grade stainless steel, with sealed, food-safe bearings. The lids are held by three neodymium magnets – strong enough to sit securely, and quick to remove for refilling.
The salt and pepper mills look the same from the outside, but differ internally: the pepper mill uses hardened steel burrs and bearings, while the salt mill uses zirconium for the necessary corrosion resistance.

What they can handle
The pepper mill grinds peppercorns and spices that are softer than coffee and smaller than a coffee bean – essentially coffee too. The salt mill is designed for dry, medium to coarse salt crystals; no wet salts, and best stored dry to prevent sweating.

Roastery Tip
Always grind pepper fresh – just like coffee, the volatile aromas dissipate shortly after grinding. Kampot or Tellicherry peppercorns are a good starting point if you want to taste the difference. This is our recommendation, one of many.
