La Marzocco Steam Tip 4-Hole 1.2mm for Cool-Touch Steam Wand
Original La Marzocco steam tip with four holes at 1.2 mm each – the standard tip for the Cool-Touch steam wand on the GS3 and Linea Mini. Sealing is done with a rubber ring (O-Ring), available separately.
A replacement is worth it as soon as the steam jet becomes weaker or uneven – usually because fine milk residue has settled in the openings, or the thread has developed play from frequent screwing and unscrewing. At 1.2 mm, this tip matches the factory setting of the Cool-Touch steam wand; smaller openings generally give a finer, calmer steam jet, while the 1.5 mm hole version delivers more volume and a stronger jet.

Who it's for
For anyone with a GS3 or Linea Mini and Cool-Touch steam wand who wants to return to the factory 1.2 mm version, or whose current tip has lost power. The swap works without special tools and without touching the wand itself.
What pairs with it
For the milk itself, our Milk Pitchers are a good match – compact with Normcore, or more generously shaped with a Rhino or Weber Workshops pitcher. For the regular cleaning of the steam wand and machine, take a look at our cleaning products. More on the GS3 and Linea Mini is found in our La Marzocco Collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the rubber ring included?
No. The O-Ring for sealing is available separately – we carry it as its own item.
Does the tip fit my machine?

What's the difference between 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm?

How is the tip fitted?
It's screwed onto the thread of the steam wand – no special tools needed.
Can I see the product before buying?
Yes, in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can experience the original spare part live.
The roastery tip
Fine milk texture deserves an espresso with just as much character. Our main recommendation: Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, dense, aromatic, with plenty of body. For maximum body with no acidity at all: Very Nutty. For anyone who wants to discover a fruity experience: Wild Peach, lively and always a discovery. Our recommendation from the roastery, one of many.
