The 63mm conical burrs are made from 440 stainless steel with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. This particularly hard coating keeps the cutting edges sharp for longer and reduces heat generation during grinding, which is important for consistent results. The conical geometry provides a fine, even particle distribution, resulting in clean extractions with clearly separated flavor notes – the delicate aromas particularly shine through with lighter roasts.
