Two lines, one clean connection
This fitting connects two lines with a G1/4 male thread. It has a wrench size of 19 millimetres and a height of 21.5 millimetres. It sounds unspectacular, but it is exactly the part that holds the pressure for years, which is why it is often replaced as well during an overhaul.
Leaks are rarely dramatic. Usually a white limescale trace appears on the thread first, then a damp film that disappears for two weeks after retightening. The part number is A.5.019.
When it is due
- Limescale traces or moisture at the thread transition.
- The connection only seals when tightened very firmly.
- The thread is damaged or the sealing surface is warped.
- All connecting parts are to be renewed during an overhaul.

Installation by a qualified professional recommended |
Important for installation
The part sits in pressurised lines inside the machine. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions for this. The machine must be depressurised and cooled down, and the replacement belongs in the hands of a qualified professional.
Who it is for
For workshops that do not want to reinstall old connecting parts during an overhaul, and for anyone who wants to seal a leak permanently rather than provisionally.
What goes with it
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
When disassembling, we lay out every fitting in the order it came out. During reassembly, this saves searching and prevents a part from ending up one position too far back. That is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. We then pull the test shot with Nutty Delight – more in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Are seals included?
No, only the fitting is supplied.
How do I know whether this is the right number?
Send us the model and serial number of your machine and where the part sits, and we will check A.5.019 for you.
