The complete cup tray for the TCA
For the Appartamento TCA, you get the cup tray as a ready-made assembly. It closes off the top of the housing, holds the pre-warmed cups and is therefore the surface of this machine you look at and touch most often.
The part number is R089909050. It belongs specifically to the TCA generation; the classic Appartamento has its own tray with its own number. Seen from above, the two look similar enough that a glance at the picture is not sufficient – the number is what counts.
When it is time to replace it
The surface is scratched or has become dull and can no longer be polished up. A dent gets in the way when you set down cups. Rust is starting to show on an edge. Or the tray rattles because it has warped and no longer sits flat.

Important for installation
Beneath the tray are the boiler, hot lines and the electrics. Unplug the machine before removing the tray, and let it cool down completely. When fitting the tray, make sure no line gets pinched – you can no longer see this from above. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here.

From our workshop in Bern and Zürich
When we replace a tray, we lay the screws out on a cloth in the order they were removed and, when reassembling, tighten them crosswise only hand-tight. If they are overtightened, the sheet metal warps and the new tray rattles just like the old one. That is our routine, not a manufacturer specification. We christen a freshly replaced tray with pre-warmed cups and Nutty Delight, for milk drinks with Cozy Chocolate, and for something stronger with Very Nutty. More in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
