Your Ceado E37Z-Hero

The Ceado E37Z-Hero marks a new class of grinder that has been a long time coming and we are very excited to present it. To put it simply, the E37Z-Hero is a zero-retention grinder that is great for single dose grinding. With its DLC coated burrs and grinding chamber and a 45° incline, you can expect to completely eliminate grind residue at both the inlet and outlet. Should any residue remain, it can be pushed out via the bellows attachment and spring-loaded output chute. With grind retention becoming an increasingly important variable for superior extraction, this is an incredible advancement.

The E37Z-Hero's interlocking worm gear allows you to make infinitesimal grind adjustments. The worm gear can be unlocked and removed to make large macro adjustments should you ever feel the need to switch between brewing methods. To that end, you can expect minimal time and coffee wastage with the dial-in. The control box houses the rest of the magic, allowing you to start and stop grinding, toggle the cooling fan, and adjust the speed of the grinders (a particularly intriguing surprise). As a nice finishing touch, the portafilter hook under the dispensing chute is easily removed to make room for various pour-over devices.

With the E37Z-Hero, Ceado's mission is to provide you with everything you need to "explore like a hero". To that end, Ceado provides you with a set of three tinted single-dose bottles, a spray bottle (to eliminate static), a portafilter funnel and a coffee journal to record your brewing results. This grinder is all about being your best, and it gives you everything you need to do that.

No Retention

To ensure minimal coffee retention, the grinders and grinding chamber have been coated with DLC (diamond-like carbon) to reduce friction and prevent coffee grounds from sticking. The integrated bellows attachment and spring-loaded chute allow you to remove the remaining grounds from the grinding chamber. As a final measure, the 83 mm burrs are designed without surface screws to further reduce retention.

Variable speed operation

For the first time with Ceado, you can now vary the speed of the burrs while the grinder is running. Adjustable speed is another variable to look into when selecting shots and other brewing methods.

All-purpose

Enjoy precise, even grinding for all types of coffee preparation. Equipped with micro and macro adjustment, large jumps from coarse to fine grinding are not only possible, but desired. For drip or brew preparation, the portafilter spouts can be removed to make room for drippers, French presses and other vessels.

Tasteful wood accents

Wood (oak), aluminum and steel combine to create a distinctive aesthetic that sets the E37Z-Hero apart from other grinders. The unique combination of materials gives the grinder a modern look that is softened by the organic warmth of the wood accents.
