Group cover Linea PB 2-group – the group looks neat again
The cover above the brew groups is the panel that takes the most in a café: it catches milk splashes, knocks from the portafilter and every wipe. After a few years in hospitality you can see it – a dented edge, worn surfaces, a mount that no longer holds. The machine keeps working, but it looks tired.
This cover belongs to the 2-group Linea PB and closes off the brew groups at the front and top. The manufacturer lists it under part number C.1.809.2. It is supplied as a single panel, without fixing material.
When it is due
An edge is dented or cracked. The cover no longer sits flat and rattles during operation. The surface is worn through at the touch points. Or a fixing has torn out, so the panel shifts during cleaning and coffee dirt runs behind it.

Important for installation
Behind the cover are hot, pressurised lines and the wiring of the group. That is why we do not give step-by-step instructions: the machine has to be disconnected from the power and cooled down, and no line may be pinched or chafed when fitting it. This is a job for a specialist or for our workshop in Bern and Zurich.

Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
This is our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: before the new cover goes on, we clean the area behind it completely – there is almost always a layer of milk residue and coffee dust that would otherwise stay covered for years. And we never polish dry, always with a damp microfibre cloth in the direction of the grain. Then we pull an espresso for the final check, preferably the Nutty Delight. If you like it more chocolatey, take the Cozy Chocolate, if you want punch, the Very Nutty. Everything else in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.

No. This position is listed for the 2-group machine, part number C.1.809.2. Other group numbers have their own positions – ask us and we will find them for you.
Is fixing material included?
No, the cover is supplied on its own. You can order screws and cover caps separately if needed.
My machine is coloured – does the part still fit?
The fit, yes; the look, not necessarily. For coloured versions, send us the serial number and we will check whether the position is available in your colour.
Can I fit it myself?
We recommend a specialist, because hot lines and the wiring of the group are behind the cover.
Can I look at the part in your showroom?
