The foot that keeps the Micra steady and non-slip

Four of these feet carry the Linea Micra. They are 28 mm in diameter, 16 mm high and screw into the housing base with an M4 thread. They do two jobs: they keep the machine from sliding on the worktop and absorb the pump's vibration before it travels into the counter.

Over the years the rubber hardens, cracks and loses its grip. Then the Micra shifts a little when you tamp, or the pump suddenly hums audibly through the worktop. Even a single missing or squashed foot is enough to make the machine wobble and the drip tray sit crooked. Part number F.2.064.

When it's due

  • The machine shifts when you tamp or insert the portafilter.
  • The pump hums through the worktop noticeably louder than before.
  • A foot is cracked, has hardened or is squashed flat.
  • The machine wobbles even though the worktop is level.
  • A foot has come loose and gone missing.

Who it's for

For anyone whose Micra no longer sits firmly or whose pump can be heard working into the worktop. If you want to replace all four, order four.

What goes with it

From our workshop

We check the feet in Bern and Zurich at every service: lift the machine, press your thumb into the rubber. If it no longer springs back, it has hardened and passes the pump's vibration straight into the worktop. Afterwards there's an espresso of Nutty Delight. Our routine, not a manufacturer specification.

Returns excluded

Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll work out the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get a set or a single foot here?

A single foot. For a complete set, order four.

Does this foot also fit the GS3 or Linea Mini?

No. There is a separate set of four for the GS3 and Linea Mini, which we've linked here.

Can I replace it myself?

Yes. Unplug the machine, lift it carefully or tilt it with a second person, unscrew the old foot and screw in the new one by hand. No forcing it with tools – the M4 thread sits in the sheet metal.

Why is my machine suddenly humming louder?

Usually it's hardened feet. The pump doesn't get louder; its vibration is simply no longer damped and the worktop acts as a sounding board.

Can I see the part in your showroom?

Yes. We're in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring your machine's serial number or the old part, and we'll compare them right at the counter.
