The hot water spout is the short piece of pipe with a nozzle that delivers the water for Americano and tea. This version has the part number TL18.01 and comes with the nozzle included.
You can spot a worn-out one straight away by its stream: instead of a straight, steady stream, you get a fan that splashes over the rim of the cup, or a trickle that runs down the outside. The cause is almost always limescale in the nozzle.
Before you order this part: in the vast majority of cases, an uneven hot water stream is caused by limescale deposits, not by wear. A thorough descaling often brings the stream back completely. You'll find everything you need for this in our Machine and grinder cleaning, such as the descaler and the descaling pads for the water tank. Only if the stream still isn't right afterwards, or the part is mechanically damaged, is a replacement worth it.
The stream fans out, splashes or runs crooked even though the machine has been descaled. The nozzle is clogged and can no longer be cleared. The thread at the connection is damaged. Or the spout is bent because it once had to serve as a handle.

For businesses that dispense a lot of hot water and are annoyed by a splashing stream every day – and for anyone who finds after descaling that the nozzle is blocked for good.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich: At every check, we run some hot water into a clear glass and watch the stream – our own routine, not a manufacturer requirement. A slightly twisting stream is the earliest limescale signal a machine gives, and it comes weeks before the first splash. Afterwards, a cup of Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty from our coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Very often, yes. A fanning stream is usually limescale in the nozzle. Descale thoroughly first – if it still splashes afterwards, a replacement makes sense.
No. You receive the spout with nozzle under TL18.01, without valve and without gaskets.
The designation doesn't specify a model series, and we don't want to guess. Send us the serial number and we'll check.
Usually, yes – it is screwed on from the outside. Only work on the machine when it is cold and depressurised.
Yes, in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b.
