The glass panel is what makes the Strada EP so distinctive: a calm, smooth surface that reflects the counter – with the red lettering right in the middle. Because the glass is glossy, any irregularity in the logo stands out immediately, much more than on painted sheet metal.
This original spare part is the red lettering for the glass panel of the Strada EP, part number D.4.002. The logo is supplied on its own – without glass, without frame, without fixing material.
When the red looks faded and you can see the colour difference to the other side. When a corner lifts or has shifted. When streaks or moisture marks are visible under the lettering. And whenever the glass panel itself has been replaced.

For businesses with a Strada EP with glass panel where the lettering is no longer right. For service technicians who have replaced a glass panel. And for anyone bringing a used Strada back into presentable condition.
Everything for this machine is under Strada spare parts. For the side panel of the EP1 there is a separate red lettering, and we also carry the Red logo Strada EP under the number D.3.004. For the trim at the display there is the conical housing for the pressure gauge. All original spare parts: Original spare parts.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
Our routine, not a manufacturer specification: on glass you can see every fingerprint and every speck of dust that gets under a logo. That is why we clean the spot twice – once roughly, once right before applying it – and we do not work near the grinder, because there is always coffee dust in the air there. Then it is time for an espresso: Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty. Everything else: Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
The service documentation lists both items under the same part number D.4.002, but assigns them to different locations and gives different prices. That is why we have two articles. Send us the serial number and tell us whether your machine has glass or sheet-metal panels – then we will tell you which part fits.
No. Only the lettering is supplied. Glass and frame are separate items.
The service documentation does not say. We make no claims here – just ask us and we will clarify it for your machine.
The lettering, yes. Anyone who removes the glass panel to do so is working on a machine under pressure and connected to mains voltage – that belongs in the hands of a qualified technician.
Yes. We have two showrooms: Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know in advance and the part will be ready for you.
