Many GS3 machines stand free on a kitchen island or with their back to the room. Then the back panel is not a hidden sheet-metal cover but a visible side – and the lettering on it is part of that. But that is exactly where the machine gets touched, moved and brushed with the jug during descaling.
This spare part is the lettering for the back panel of the GS3, part number D.2.001. The logo is supplied on its own, without back panel and without fixing material. It is not the same item as the lettering on the front – that one has its own number.
When the lettering has been knocked, scratched or has gone dull. When an edge is lifting. When the back panel has been replaced and the old logo did not come through intact. And whenever a used GS3 is being refurbished and the back still looks like the workshop.

For everyone whose GS3 stands free in the room and should look just as good from behind as from the front. For workshops after replacing a back panel. And for everyone getting a used GS3 ready before it goes back into service.
Everything for this machine is listed under GS3 spare parts. For the front there is the GS3 logo in the new version. If you are refreshing the machine anyway, you will find the drip tray grate and the drip tray without grate here. All spare parts: Original spare parts.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
Our routine, not a manufacturer requirement: when we refurbish a GS3 for sale, we always do the back first. It is the side you pull and push on when setting the machine up – whatever is freshened up there while the machine is still on the trolley stays fresh. And because waiting for things to dry would otherwise be boring: Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty from our coffee bean selection.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. The lettering for the back panel has the number D.2.001, the one for the front has its own number. We carry both as separate items.
No. Only the logo is supplied. The back panel and cover panels are separate items.
The service documentation doesn't state a colour for this part. We don't write anything here that we can't back up – just ask us and we'll find out.
Its assignment to the GS3 is documented; the documentation doesn't mention any restriction by year of manufacture. For an older machine, it's best to send us the serial number and we'll check.
Yes. We have two showrooms: Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know in advance and the part will be ready for you.
