On the two-group LEVA, the upper front panel runs across the brew groups, at eye level above the counter. It has no function in the water circuit, but it shapes the impression: every dent, every scratch and every milk stain shows up large and right in the middle of the guest area.
It is worn mainly by daily cleaning. Abrasive cleaners attack the surface, milk splashes dry into the edges, and at some point a milk jug knocked against it leaves a dent that can no longer be polished out. Anyone who takes over a used LEVA often finds a panel that still holds, but no longer looks presentable.
Replace the panel if it has dents or knocks that can be seen from the guest area. If the surface is scratched over a large area or scoured dull. If an edge has warped and the trim no longer sits cleanly against the adjacent parts. If a mounting point has torn out and the panel rattles. And whenever a refit is due anyway and the front should look uniform again.

For cafés and bars where the LEVA is in full view of guests. And for anyone refurbishing a used machine who wants to bring the front back up to standard.
If you are taking the front off anyway, it is worth looking at the compression springs for the LEVA, the tension spring on the brew group ring and the O-rings for the LEVA. All LEVA parts under La Marzocco LEVA spare parts, the rest of the range in the category Service parts.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: we always fit a new front panel last, once all work on the groups and lines has been completed and checked. Anyone who screws it on too early will have grazed it with the screwdriver by the first retightening at the latest – and will be annoyed by a scratch on a part that is not even an hour old. Once everything is in place, we pull the first shot: on the LEVA preferably with Nutty Delight, because its nutty profile suits the lever profile well. It gets more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, bolder with Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. The number C.1.284.2 is for the two-group version. Other group counts have their own numbers – write and tell us which one you need.
The scope of delivery is the panel. Whether your machine has separate lettering depends on the version and year of manufacture – send us a photo and we will tell you what else you need.
It is the original part in the factory-fitted version. We deliberately do not describe any colour or coating here that we cannot verify – ask us if the exact shade matters.
The panel is purely a housing trim. To remove it, however, the machine must first be disconnected from the mains and cooled down – underneath are hot and live components.
Yes. In Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know shortly beforehand and we will have it ready.
