A LEVA has several sheet metal panels that you might casually call the “upper panel”. To avoid ordering the wrong part, the part number is right here in the title: this part is C.1.273, the upper panel of the lever group. It is not the upper front panel of the 2-group LEVA, which is listed as C.1.284.2.
The panel closes off the group at the top. In everyday use, this is where everything lands that falls or spills at a bar: milk, coffee grounds, cleaning agents, occasionally a tamper. After a few years it shows – and that's why it gets replaced so often.
The panel is dented, scratched or warped at an edge, so it no longer sits flush. Signs of corrosion appear at a spot where water stood for long periods. Or it rattles in operation because the fastening has worn loose. Here too: your guests see what sits on top of the group – on a machine in the front of house, that's no side issue.

For businesses with a LEVA whose group has taken a beating from above, and for service companies refurbishing a machine. If you replace several panels at the same time, you get a group that looks all of a piece again – individual new parts next to old ones, on the other hand, stand out.
The two flanks of the same group are the left side panel and the right side panel. A different part is the upper front panel LEVA 2-group with the number C.1.284.2. Also a good match are the plastic surround of the brew group and the screw for the lever group protective cover. You'll find the overview in La Marzocco LEVA spare parts and in the Original spare parts section.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Before we order a panel for the LEVA, we photograph the spot and hold the number from the exploded view next to it. On this machine, several panels look similar enough that ordering by description regularly goes wrong. That's our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. Once the group is complete again, the first lever pull feels even better – ideally with Nutty Delight, sweeter with Cozy Chocolate, stronger with Very Nutty. More in Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No, and that's exactly why the number is in the title. This part is C.1.273, the upper panel of the lever group. The upper front panel of the 2-group LEVA is C.1.284.2 and a separate product.
Our documentation doesn't state a number of groups for C.1.273. Send us your machine's serial number and we'll check the fit before you order.
Our documentation doesn't say anything about that either. That's why we only give the part number and don't guess.
No. You receive only the panel; we stock fastening hardware separately.
Yes. We're in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know shortly beforehand and the part will be ready for you.
