On the control panel of a Linea PB, a narrow ring sits around each push button. It fills the gap between button and panel, keeps the button centred and makes sure the front stays a closed surface instead of a row of holes with play in them.
Because that is exactly where people press a hundred times a day and wipe over with a cloth, the ring is one of those parts that quietly disappear. At some point you notice that a button sits crooked or shifts slightly when pressed – usually all that is missing is this ring. Part number F.1.048.
The button no longer sits centred in its cut-out or tilts to the side when pressed. A dark gap appears around the button where coffee grounds and milk splashes collect. The ring is cracked, deformed or was left behind in the socket during the last service. Or the front simply no longer looks like a front because something is missing in one spot.

For anyone who looks after a Linea PB and wants it to look like it did on day one after five years in operation. For service technicians who replace all the rings at once during an overhaul instead of opening the panel again later. And for owners who don't want to simply put up with a loose control.
You can find more parts for this machine in the section Spare parts La Marzocco Linea PB. Often needed alongside: the red logo for the front and the brew group cover Linea PB 2-group. The whole range is in the section Original spare parts.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
This is our own routine, not a manufacturer requirement: when we have a control panel open anyway, we replace all the button rings at once, not just the faulty one. They age at the same rate, and removing the panel a second time costs more time than the part. Afterwards we pull a few shots as a check – ideally with the Nutty Delight, because with this blend you immediately hear and taste whether the machine is running normally again. If you prefer it more chocolatey, take the Cozy Chocolate or the strong Very Nutty. The full selection is under Coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. Only the ring is supplied, not the button and not the switch behind it. If the button itself is broken, send us the serial number and we will check which position you need.
One per push button. How many buttons your machine has depends on the number of groups and the equipment – count them on the panel and you will know the quantity.
We have no information on this, and we don't claim anything we cannot back up. If you need it for your documentation, we will ask the manufacturer.
Part number F.1.048 is assigned to the Linea PB. For other series, send us the serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
Yes. Drop by in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 or in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring the old part with you and we will compare them together.
