The pressure gauge on a Linea Classic S is the first thing that catches your eye when you stand in front of the machine. Round glass, a clear scale, and around the outside a ring that holds both together. It keeps the glass in position, neatly closes off the opening in the front panel and gives the display the edge that makes it look so tidy.
Wear shows up here visually first. The ring gets scratched by the cleaning cloth, pressure marks appear at the clamping points, and once it is warped, the glass no longer sits centred. That is not a technical defect – but on a machine that stands on the counter, appearance is part of its function.
A ring that moves during cleaning or no longer sits flush. Visible scratches, dents or corrosion. A glass that has sat crooked in its frame since the last service. And the most common case: the ring was bent while removing the pressure gauge and can no longer be fitted without tension.

For businesses that want to bring a Linea Classic S back into good visual shape, and for service technicians who renew the bezel while replacing a pressure gauge instead of bending a warped ring back into shape.
The same instrument also includes the pressure gauge glass for the Linea Classic S and the white combined pressure gauge for the Linea Classic S. The older version is the Linea Classic pressure gauge. You can find more items under Linea Classic spare parts.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer specification: we clean pressure gauge rings only with a soft, damp cloth and never with scouring cream or a microfibre cloth that still has coffee grounds in it. The fine scratches you end up seeing almost always come from cleaning, not from operation. Afterwards, on the first shot – usually with Nutty Delight – we check that the needle moves smoothly. If you like it more chocolatey, try Cozy Chocolate; stronger, Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Part number F.3.152. The glass for the same pressure gauge is a separate item with the number F.1.214 – the two are often ordered together but are separate.
No. Only the ring is supplied. We carry the glass as a separate item, as well as the complete pressure gauge.
Our documentation specifies neither material nor dimensions, so there is nothing about it here. Write to us about what you want to replace and we will find out for you.
Our documentation lists it for the Linea Classic S. The front of the older Classic looks different. Send us your machine's serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
