A scale is only worth something as long as you can read it. As soon as the white print has worn off, a reproducible setting turns into a feeling: you turn, try, turn back and can no longer find last week's point. Anyone who works in a team of two or five on the same machine notices this fastest.
This ring is the complete assembly with white scale that the manufacturer lists under part number 1076. It replaces the worn original so that the markings are sharp again and every setting has a number you can note down.
The white markings are faded, smeared or completely gone at the most-used spots. The ring sits loosely and turns when you merely brush against it. Or the edge is damaged, so the scale no longer lines up with the marking.

For teams that write down their settings and want to pick up in the morning exactly where they left off in the evening. For businesses with changing staff, where “two marks further” has to be a real instruction. And for service technicians who make a machine readable again before handing it over.
You will find more positions in Accessories and spare parts for La Marzocco and an overview in Service parts. For grinders, Accessories and spare parts for coffee grinders is worth a look, and so that the new scale does not get sticky again right away, machine and grinder cleaning belongs with it.
Bar tip from Bern and Zurich
This is our routine behind the counter, not a manufacturer's specification: next to the scale we stick a small label with the setting for each bean that is currently running. When the coffee changes, the label changes – so the changeover takes two minutes instead of twenty. For fine-tuning we like to use Nutty Delight, because it shows immediately when it runs too coarse. Sweeter with Cozy Chocolate, stronger with Very Nutty. Everything else is in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
It belongs to the assembly with part number 1076. Because the same ring can be fitted to different devices, send us the serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
The assembly is supplied as the manufacturer lists it under 1076: the ring with the white scale.
A paint marker helps in the short term, but not permanently: the paint does not hold on the worn surface and the marks become inaccurate. If the setting has to be reproducible, replacement is the more honest way.
The scope of delivery is the assembly itself. If needed, you order screws or pins separately – ask us and we will look up the position.
Yes. We are in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know shortly beforehand and we will have the part ready.
