The back you only notice once it no longer looks good
A GB5 rarely stands with its back to the wall. In open bars, at island counters and in training rooms, people see it from behind just as much as from the front – and that is when every bump, every scratch and every warped corner catches the eye straight away.
The back panel is also the panel that comes off and goes back on most often during servicing. Screws that have been loosened a hundred times, edges that jammed when the panel was lifted off, transport damage from a change of location: at some point, straightening it out is no longer worth it. Part number C.1.015.2.01.
When it is time
The panel has dents, kinks or a corner that no longer sits flush. The surface is scratched or has gone dull in a spot that has been wiped for years. A screw hole has torn out, so the panel only holds at three points. Or the machine has been moved and took a hit on exactly this side.

Who it is for
For businesses whose GB5 stands freely in the room and is seen from all sides. For second-hand dealers and workshops getting a machine back into shape before reselling it. And for anyone who, after transport damage, does not want to replace half the machine, but just that one panel.
What goes with it
Part of the outer shell of the same series is the cover panel for the corner above the foot GB5 X. Often ordered at the same time during servicing: the stainless steel group cover GB5 and Linea PB and the M10 × 25 screw for the rear foot. From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer specification: before we fit a new back panel, we first set all the screws loosely and then tighten them crosswise, not one after the other. A panel that is tightened at one corner first will stick out at the other end – and you will see that forever after. Then a few shots as a check, usually with the Nutty Delight. For something more chocolatey, go for the Cozy Chocolate, for something stronger the Very Nutty. Everything else under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been fitted or tried on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Does the panel also fit a 3-group GB5?
No. Number C.1.015.2.01 is the two-group version. There are separate items for other group counts – let us know which one you need.
What colour or finish does the back panel have?
We have no information on this, and we do not claim anything we cannot back up. Send us the serial number of your GB5 and we will clarify the version before you order.
Is there a logo on the panel?
The item description does not mention a logo, so we do not claim one either. We carry lettering as separate items – tell us which machine you have and we will find the right one.
Are screws included?
The scope of delivery has not been itemised for us; we assume the panel is supplied as a single part. If fastening material is missing, we will put it together for you.
Can I see the part at your shop?
