On the LEVA, a group rotates during extraction, and in front of it sits a Plexiglas cover. This screw holds it. It is tiny, it costs almost nothing – and it is the reason the cover stays where it belongs.
In practice, it gets lost in two ways. Either the cross recess gets stripped because someone used the wrong bit with too much force; then it can no longer be loosened cleanly. Or it simply disappears – loosened during cleaning, put down on the counter, gone. After that, the cover hangs crooked, rattles with every shot and wears through at the edge.
Reorder when the head is stripped and the bit slips. When the thread no longer grips cleanly. When the screw is corroded or discoloured. And of course when it is missing – a protective cover with only half of its fastening is no longer a protective cover.

For any business with a LEVA that wants a few of these screws in the drawer. They are exactly the kind of part that is always missing when things need to happen fast.
In the same corner of the machine sit the Compression springs for the LEVA and the Tension spring on the brew group ring. Above it is the Upper front panel LEVA 2-group. All LEVA parts can be found under Spare parts La Marzocco LEVA, the rest of the range in the Service parts section.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: at every LEVA service, we put a small magnetic tray on the counter and drop all loosened screws into it before anything else happens. Sounds trivial, but it saves exactly the situation where you are standing there in the evening with a cover in your hand and the matching screw is lying somewhere between the drip tray and the base plate. Once everything is reassembled, we pull the test shot – preferably with Nutty Delight, more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, bold with Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
One. If you want to refasten the cover completely, order several accordingly.
No. Only the screw is supplied. The cover itself is a separate item – write to us if you need it.
Part number VITE3x10. If your service documentation shows a different number, send it to us before ordering.
Yes, it is an external fastening. Let the machine cool down first and use the right bit, then the head will not get stripped.
Yes. In Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring the old screw with you and we will compare them directly.
