On the water tank of the Linea Mini R sits a removable plastic adapter. It connects the tank to the intake and can be taken out for cleaning. Small, inconspicuous – and of all things the part that most often gets lost when the tank comes out for rinsing.
If it is missing or poorly seated, the pump draws air. You hear it right away: the machine gets loud, the extraction stops, and the tank does not empty evenly. Replacing the part instead of searching for it for ages usually gets you back up and running faster.
Replace the adapter if it is cracked or warped, if it no longer sits snugly and the pump draws air, if it is cloudy, brittle or coated, or if it is simply missing. Plastic in the water path ages – after years, a new part is the simpler solution than troubleshooting.

In our shop we also carry a plastic adapter for the water tank of the Linea Micra. That is a different item number for a different machine. This item here, T.3.014, is listed in our documentation explicitly for the Linea Mini R. The model series tells you which version belongs in your machine – if in doubt, send us the serial number before you order.
For everyone who runs their Linea Mini R with a tank and has lost or damaged the part while cleaning, and for service workshops that keep an inexpensive wear part in stock. The swap needs no tool – the adapter is removable.
The matching tank is the complete water tank including lid A.7.032; for the older Linea Mini there is the tank A.7.003.R and the large lid A.7.002. The descaling pads help against limescale in the tank. More can be found under Linea Mini spare parts and Original spare parts.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
When a machine with a tank suddenly gets loud in our workshop, we check this part first before we suspect the pump – in nine out of ten cases the adapter sits crooked or is missing altogether. That is our routine, not a manufacturer specification, and it saves a lot of time. Once everything is quiet again, we pull a Nutty Delight; if you like it darker, go for the Cozy Chocolate, if you are after punch, the Very Nutty. You will find all of them under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a short message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. For the Linea Micra we carry a separate plastic adapter under a different item number. In our documentation, T.3.014 is listed for the Linea Mini R.
Often, yes. First check whether the adapter is present and sits snugly before you look any further.
