Switch it on, and the first espresso flows after around 12 minutes – FAST technology cuts the heat-up time noticeably compared to a classic heat exchanger machine. The OLED display shows you the brewing process, and the Speed Shot Timer counts along. The Giotto FAST comes in R and V variants, in black and chrome.
Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Rocket in Switzerland. When you buy, our private barista course is included (in German or English, in Bern or Zurich), where we introduce you to extraction and the espresso ritual. The course is for up to two people from the same household or company attending together and must take place within one month of the machine's delivery – after that, the entitlement expires. Get in touch with us for the course and we'll find a date together.
The first shot succeeds after around 12 minutes (depending on water and ambient temperature) – noticeably faster than a classic heat exchanger machine at around 20 minutes.
Heat exchanger system with the E61 group head for consistent brewing temperature and mechanical pre-infusion.
The OLED display and the Speed Shot Timer keep an eye on the shot, while the dual pressure gauge shows pump and boiler pressure.
The R variant has a rotary pump with a direct-water option and a tank reserve sensor, the V variant a vibration pump running from the tank.

Dense, round beans suit the E61 group well. Our Cozy Chocolate and the Nutty Delight work beautifully with milk and on their own. That’s our recommendation, one of many.
