When the drip tray gives up, the grille has usually suffered too – both sit in the same water and catch the same coffee grounds. This item therefore combines what belongs together anyway: tray plus grille, in one order, for R Cinquantotto, Mozzafiato and Giotto.
For once, the scope of delivery is stated in the manufacturer's documentation itself: part number RA99906574 covers tray and grille. With “complete” items this is rarely so clear, which is why we say it explicitly – for other kits, this line states that we don't know the scope.
The tray is scaled or tarnished, and the grille shows the same marks at its contact points. One corner has a dent, and the grille has been sitting crooked ever since. Rust is forming at the drain. Or the machine is due for a complete visual refresh – down at the bottom is where you see the difference fastest.

For anyone who doesn't want to order twice, and for anyone refurbishing a used machine. If only one of the two parts is worn out, the tray and grille are also available separately – that is cheaper.
Separately, there is the tray without grille and the grille. Matching parts are the plastic collecting container, the sealing plug with O-ring and the drain hose. Everything for the machine in Rocket R Cinquantotto spare parts, Rocket Giotto and Cellini and in the spare parts.
From our workshop in Bern and Zürich
When replacing it, we don't put the new grille on straight away; instead, we first slide in the empty tray and check whether it sits snugly in the guide. If it jams, it is almost always due to coffee grounds left in the guide rail and not the new tray. This is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. We pull the first shot with Nutty Delight, for milk drinks with Cozy Chocolate, for strong cups with Very Nutty. More under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. Therefore, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Yes. According to the manufacturer's documentation, part number RA99906574 covers tray and grille. The plastic collecting container and the sealing plug are not included.
R01L006574 is the same tray without grille. The two numbers share the final digits; the difference is the scope of delivery. If your grille is still in good shape, take the tray on its own.
The documentation lists R Cinquantotto, Mozzafiato and Giotto for RA99906574. The tray without grille, on the other hand, is also listed for the R58. Send us the serial number and we will clarify it before you order.
Dimensions, sheet thickness and surface finish are not documented. We don't give any figures here that we cannot back up.
