AeroPress Stainless Steel Filter – reusable, 316 stainless steel
Press, eject the puck, rinse the filter briefly and let it dry – the next morning it sits in the filter cap again. The AeroPress stainless steel filter replaces the paper filter in the standard size.
According to AeroPress, it is made of grade 316 stainless steel and lets more coffee oils through than paper while the grounds stay behind. In the cup that means more body and a fuller mouthfeel. Paper holds back more and gives a clearer cup. Both are valid choices.
According to AeroPress, the filter fits the Original, Clear, Go, Premium and Go Plus. The AeroPress XL has its own XL filter.
