Does the coffee taste different than with paper?

A bit fuller: the metal filter lets more oils through, so the cup has more body and sometimes a little fine sediment. Paper gives you the clearest cup.

How do I clean it?

Rinse it briefly and let it dry. That way it stays with you through many brews.
