The Ascaso Baby T Plus is the flagship of the Baby T line, built by Ascaso in Barcelona. It combines a thermoblock for the brew water with its own steam boiler, PID control and a direct water connection – and it comes in many colours.
Two heating systems, PID-precise
The brew water comes from a stainless-steel-coated aluminium thermoblock, the steam from an independent 2.5-litre stainless steel service boiler. That's how espresso and milk foam happen at the same time. The PID control keeps the brewing temperature to around ±0.5 °C, and a pre-infusion prepares the puck. With espresso, there's no right or wrong – grind size, dose and ratio lead you to the goal, 1:2 as a starting point.
Features and connection
Volumetrically programmable buttons with a shot clock, a joystick for the steam, active cup warming and LED barista lights make everyday use easy. The machine runs from the 2-litre tank or via a direct water connection. From a cold start, the group head is ready in around 1:45 minutes, the steam boiler in under 10 minutes. Control via the Ascaso app is possible; wood accessories round off the look.
