Over time, every belt stretches slightly and loses tension. The symptoms usually appear gradually: a slight slip on startup, an unfamiliar sound, or a grind per dose that's no longer quite as consistent as before. The Rebuild Kit brings the belt and its associated wear parts back to factory level.
Why a stable belt keeps every shot consistent
The Pico is designed for an 18-gram dose in under ten seconds – for that, power transfer from motor to burrs has to stay constant, shot after shot. A stretched or worn belt causes small fluctuations in rotation speed, which can ultimately show up as differences in the grounds, even when grind size and dose stay the same.
