Weber Workshops Blind Shaker without Magnet – for 58mm
The same Blind Shaker, just without a magnet in the base: You grind into it, put on the lid, shake briefly, and then pull the plug over the 58mm portafilter. Static and clumps are eliminated, and the powder falls cleanly into the basket.

What makes the Blind Shaker special
Shaking in the closed cup removes static charge from freshly ground coffee, breaks up clumps, and redistributes the grounds. According to Weber, this reduces static and channeling and increases extraction yield. The interior surface is polished using a proprietary process, so hardly any powder sticks – without coating.

With or without magnet
If you use a Weber grinder (EG-1, Key) and want magnetic self-centering, choose the Blind Shaker with Magnet. For all other grinders, this version without a magnet is the right choice. If you switch between 58 and 49 mm, check out the Blind Tumbler.

Without a magnet, hold the shaker by hand briefly under the spout when grinding – one or two gentle shakes are enough. With forgiving profiles like Nutty Delight, the process works particularly smoothly. This is our recommendation, one of many.
