Olympia Express Frothing Pitcher 30cl – Stainless Steel with Laser-Engraved Logo
The compact Olympia milk pitcher with a 30 cl volume, made of thick-walled stainless steel with a laser-engraved Olympia logo. The honest choice for single cappuccinos and smaller latte art sessions. Very good thermal conductivity, which gives you tactile feedback when frothing – you feel the temperature through the wall instead of just guessing it. Made in Schwanden GL, in the Olympia manufacturing tradition.
What makes this frothing pitcher special
Thick-walled stainless steel with laser-engraved logo
Olympia values substantial wall thicknesses – the pitcher feels heavy in the hand and retains its shape even after years of intensive use. The Olympia logo is laser-engraved, not printed: it survives every wash cycle and every cleaning.
Very good thermal conductivity
Original Olympia wording: "very good thermal conductivity". When frothing, this means: you feel through the wall when the milk reaches 60 °C – your hand gets warm, then uncomfortably warm, then too warm. The pitcher becomes a thermometer in your hand, without the need for an electronic thermometer.
30 cl: compact for a single cappuccino
30 cl total volume, ideally about 150 ml of milk for a single cappuccino. Those who regularly make two or more milk drinks in parallel should opt for the larger 50 cl version. For single users or on the go, 30 cl is the honest choice.

30cl or 50cl – an honest comparison
30cl: compact, for single users
This pitcher here. For everyone who makes one cappuccino or latte per session. Heats up faster, easier to handle for latte art beginners.
50cl: for two cups in parallel or larger latte art
The larger Olympia Frothing Pitcher 50cl offers space for two cappuccinos in parallel or larger latte art attempts with more room.
Who this pitcher is made for
For all Olympia machine owners who regularly make a single cappuccino and want a durable, consistent pitcher. Also for latte art learners, because the compact size and strong thermal conductivity train the feel for milk temperature.
Accessories that fit the milk frothing setup
2-hole steam nozzle for finer milk foam: in our Olympia Express Collection. Cappuccino cup 130 ml in classic Italian size: also there. Olympia espresso cup 60 ml for a single shot: same collection.
Frequently asked questions
How much milk for a cappuccino with a 30cl pitcher?
About 150 ml of cold milk, after frothing, yields the right foam for a classic Italian cappuccino (130 ml cup). When frothing, the volume increases by about 40%.
Why is the wall thick-walled?
Three reasons: better heat retention, longer shape stability over years, and – most importantly – tactile feedback through the wall. You feel the temperature and develop a sense for when the milk is perfectly textured.
Is the pitcher dishwasher safe?
Yes. For long-term appearance, hand washing is gentler.
Where can I buy or see the pitcher live?
On site in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44, 3011 Bern) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b, 8050 Zurich).
Roaster's Tip
The thick-walled Olympia pitcher is one of those tools where after a few weeks you realize why the wall is so massive – your hand develops a feel for the right temperature, and you no longer need a thermometer. Our opinion, one of many.
