The pointed spout draws the milk stream into a narrow flow, you hold the handleless jug by the soft silicone sleeve, and your hand guides the line exactly where you want it.
We are the importer of Normcore in Switzerland and stock the range directly. Anyone who buys an espresso machine from us also receives a roughly 60-minute introductory course in Bern, Zurich or online – there we steam and pour together, and a pitcher like this is exactly the tool for it.
The spout is the last point the milk touches before it meets the crema – a little like the nib of a fountain pen determines the line you draw. The pointed, tapering spout of this pitcher gives a finer, slightly slower stream. That makes detailed patterns such as rosetta, swan or the fine tulip accessible, because you dose the milk precisely and can draw thin lines.
If you prefer broad, flowing lines for the heart and classic tulip, you will also find the rounded version in our milk pitcher collection. Both shapes are right – one draws finely, the other tells its story broadly. That is our observation, one of many.
With latte art there is no right and no wrong, only what you like. The milk wants a dense, glossy microfoam that moves like wet paint – without coarse bubbles. It tastes sweetest before it gets too hot, roughly in the range of 60 to 65 degrees.
To pour, tilt the cup slightly, start from a little height so milk and espresso combine, and then lower the pitcher close to the surface. With the pointed spout you get especially close and can draw thin, clean lines. The exposed metal base lets you feel with your hand when the milk is warm enough – without any thermometer.
Without a handle you decide the angle yourself. You hold the pitcher however feels right for your movement, and the heat-resistant silicone sleeve gives a secure grip. The 1 mm stainless steel wall provides a balanced weight in the hand, and the inner scale helps you dose the milk accurately.
The pitcher comes in black, white, green, pink and chrome. The coloured versions carry a double Teflon coating – wash these by hand with a soft sponge and mild washing-up liquid, no dishwasher, no abrasive cleaners and no hard sponges, so the surface stays flawless. The chrome version in brushed stainless steel may also go in the dishwasher. As a general rule with us: anything coated or coloured is cleaned gently by hand.

For everyone who pours cappuccino, flat white or latte at home and enjoys fine patterns. The pointed spout accompanies you as you refine rosetta and tulip, and thanks to the handleless form it sits calmly in the hand. The 450 ml size fits most cups for one to two drinks; if you steam larger quantities, reach for the 600 ml version from our Normcore collection.
The pitcher comes into its own on any machine with a steam wand – from a manual Flair to a La Marzocco from our coffee machines collection. If you are looking for an affordable, precise pitcher, Normcore serves you well; if you want the especially fine craftsmanship of Weber Workshops, you will find it in our Weber Workshops collection.
Beneath the milk foam everything meets the espresso: our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight give the dense, chocolatey-nutty body that carries the white pattern beautifully.
The pointed spout gives a finer, slightly slower stream and makes detailed patterns such as rosetta and swan more accessible. The rounded spout flows more broadly and suits the heart and tulip well. Both are equally good – it comes down to your pouring style.
There are black, white, green, pink and chrome. Clean the coloured, coated versions by hand with a soft sponge and mild washing-up liquid, no dishwasher and no abrasive agents. The chrome version in brushed stainless steel is also dishwasher-safe.
450 ml suits one to two drinks in most cups. 600 ml makes sense if you fill larger cups or steam several cappuccinos in a row.
It fits any machine with a steam wand. The wide opening gives the wand enough room, and the exposed base lets you feel the temperature with your hand.
Yes, gladly. You can experience it live and hold it in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). You can buy it online across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein, delivery in 2–4 business days.
From the coffee roastery: fine patterns need a calm, dense espresso beneath them. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight carry the pattern most beautifully – round, chocolatey, without covering it. If you like it stronger without any acidity, go for Very Nutty; if you are looking for a fruity experience, discover Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
