Lelit Elizabeth3 PL92T3 – Dual Boiler Espresso Machine with Pagaia Flow Profiling
Two boilers up to temperature, your hand on the wooden lever, and on the display the curve of your espresso takes shape: the Lelit Elizabeth3 with Pagaia.
The Elizabeth3 is Lelit's new-generation dual boiler. A 200 millilitre brass coffee boiler, a 600 millilitre steam and hot water boiler, a new saturated LELIT58 brew group with its own stainless steel heating element, and Pagaia, Lelit's patented electronic flow profiling. Lelit calls it the most complete expression of the Pagaia experience.
Pagaia: Pressure and Flow in Real Time
With the Pagaia lever on the side, you regulate the flow in real time. The LCC display shows you the set pressure and the pressure actually acting on the puck. In the puck, the compounds don't all dissolve at the same time: easily soluble aromas and the acidity reach the cup early, sweetness and body follow, heavier compounds come at the end. If you guide the flow, you shift this time window and with it the picture in the cup.
Profiling is a learning process in which every cup tells you something. The bean, the humidity and you yourself change from day to day, so no shot is exactly like another. That's exactly what makes it exciting.
Profiles: Factory, Manual or Free
Two pressure profiles are stored from the factory, “Lever Shot” and “Modern Shot”, which Lelit has tuned to different roast styles. On top of that, there are manual profiles with up to five programmable steps and the Freestyle mode, in which you guide the flow freely with Pagaia. Profiles and shot times sit on coffee buttons 1 and 2. If you'd rather not adjust anything, you stay with the factory profiles, and that is a valid path too.
As a starting point, we take the weight ratio of 1:2, not time alone, and shift from there in the direction that tastes good. There's no right and no wrong, no espresso laws and no espresso police. Espresso is complex, but it's not rocket science.
Two Boilers, Two Temperatures
Because coffee and steam have separate boilers, the brew temperature doesn't depend on the steam power. You set both temperatures on the LCC, in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Temperature helps decide which compounds dissolve: warmer brings more body, cooler more complexity and aroma. The cool-touch steam wand with 3-hole tip takes care of milk foam, and the fixed hot water wand handles tea or an Americano. If you go without milk for a few days, you simply switch off the steam boiler.
The new LELIT58 group is saturated and heated by its own stainless steel heating element. Our observation: saturated brew groups deliver a more refined aromatic picture than an E61, regardless of whether a single boiler, heat exchanger or dual boiler is behind it. Others see it differently, and our opinion is one of many. You can read what the heating system means for your espresso in our deep dive on single boilers, heat exchangers and dual boilers.
In Everyday Use
The LCC shows you when the machine is ready, how long the shot has been running and when it needs water, and there is a reserve mode as well. The three-way solenoid valve pulls the puck dry after the shot, and automatic purge and the cleaning cycle can be activated. The redesigned water tank holds 2.5 litres, the shaped drip tray with wire grid is quicker to clean, and LEDs in the brewing area and under the group show you what's happening in the cup. On top there's a cup warmer, and underneath there's room for larger cups.
Stainless Steel, Black or White
The Elizabeth3 comes in brushed stainless steel with smoked oak details, and in black and in white with a textured surface and zebrano wood on the Pagaia lever, knob, feet, portafilter and tamper. All three feature the polished stainless steel side ribbon, the gem-shaped pictogram and tall wooden feet. The technology is identical in all finishes.
Nobody needs a dual boiler with flow profiling to make good espresso. You want one, or you don't. It's the feeling when your hand finds the lever and the machine stands on the counter, and if you want that, you know why.

Who the Elizabeth3 Is For
For households where espresso and cappuccino exist side by side and nobody wants to wait for the switch between coffee and steam temperature. For everyone who wants to adjust the flow and the brew temperature and taste what changes, and just as much for everyone who simply enjoys the factory profiles. If one boiler is enough for you and you're looking for a narrower machine, you'll find the Victoria3 with Pagaia in our Lelit Collection.
What the Elizabeth3 draws from the bean begins in the grinder. For everyone who wants grinders affordable and precise: the Varia VS3, the Comandante C40 or a Timemore as a hand grinder. If you want more: Varia VS6, Weber Workshops EG-1 or Option-O Lagom, found in our coffee grinders. For dosing by weight, the coffee scales offer Normcore as a compact, precise solution and Acaia with app and flow rate display, which pairs well with Pagaia. For puck prep, you'll find both price ranges in the puck screens, from Normcore to Weber Workshops.
You can buy the Lelit Elizabeth3 online from us, with delivery across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. Financing is possible, and a private barista course can be booked in addition. Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Lelit.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Lelit Elizabeth3 PL92T3
What is Pagaia on the Elizabeth3?
Pagaia is Lelit's patented electronic flow profiling. With the lever on the side, you regulate the flow in real time during the shot, and the LCC display shows you the set and actual pressure. In addition, there are the factory profiles “Lever Shot” and “Modern Shot” and manual profiles with up to five steps.
Is the Elizabeth3 a true dual boiler?
Yes. It has a 200 millilitre brass coffee boiler and a 600 millilitre steam and hot water boiler. You set the coffee and steam temperature separately, and you can switch off the steam boiler.
What's the difference between the Elizabeth3 and the Victoria3?
Both have Pagaia, the saturated LELIT58 group and the LCC with OLED display. The Elizabeth3 additionally has the 600 ml steam boiler and a separate hot water wand and is 36 cm wide. The Victoria3 works with one boiler and one wand for steam and hot water and is 27 cm wide.
Will my existing 58 mm accessories fit?
The Elizabeth3 uses the LELIT58 group and is compatible with the LELIT58 barista tools. For accessories from other brands, just send us a quick message at [email protected] and we'll check it for you.
Which finishes are available?
Brushed stainless steel with smoked oak, as well as black and white with zebrano wood. The technology is the same in all three finishes.
Can I see the product before I buy it?
That depends on whether the Lelit Elizabeth3 is on display right now. Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check for you whether the Lelit Elizabeth3 is currently there.
Tip from Our Coffee Roastery
Two boilers mean the brew temperature follows the bean, not the steam. For the vast majority, Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are the loveliest start – dense, aromatic, sweet, with caramel and chocolate. For maximum body with no acidity at all, go for Very Nutty. And if you're curious, you'll discover a fruity picture in Wild Peach with Pagaia. That's our recommendation, one of many.
