The conical housing that gives the Strada's pressure gauge its clean look
This cone-shaped housing frames the pressure gauge of the Strada AV. It holds the gauge in the front panel, shields it from milk splashes and cleaning cloths, and is the part you see every time you check the pressure. Technically inconspicuous, but visually the bezel of one of the machine's most important instruments.
Because it sits right at the front, it takes everything: the portafilter that slips while being locked in, the edge of the milk jug, the cleaning agent left standing overnight. Eventually the surface becomes dull, scratched or dented – and the gauge sits crooked in it.
When it's time to replace it
You need a new housing if the cone has a dent or a deep scratch, if the surface has become dull and stained and can no longer be polished, if the pressure gauge wobbles or sits crooked in it, or if you want to fit a clean bezel at the same time as replacing the gauge.

Important for installation
To replace it, the front has to be opened and the pressure gauge removed. The gauge is connected to a pressurised line, with the lighting right next to it. This is not a quick job: depressurise the machine, disconnect it from the mains, and if in doubt let a qualified professional do it. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here.
Who it's for
For businesses with a Strada AV that should look like it did on day one after years of service, and for service technicians who renew the bezel at the same time as replacing the pressure gauge.
What goes with it
Worth doing in the same job: Strada AV pressure gauge 0-18 bar coffee with LED, Strada AV pressure gauge 0-3 bar steam with LED and the LED for the Strada AV pressure gauge. You'll find all parts for the series under La Marzocco Strada spare parts, and all spare parts under Spare parts.
Tip from our workshop
We never clean pressure gauge bezels with scouring cream or descaler – both attack the surface, and after that the cone stays dull for good. At our places in Bern and Zurich, the front only gets a damp cloth in the evening, milk residue comes off straight away, and descaler belongs in the water circuit, not on the panel. That's our routine, not a manufacturer's specification. For dialling in afterwards, we use Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate for chocolatey notes and Very Nutty for body. All roasts under Coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Is the pressure gauge included?
No. Only the conical housing is supplied. You order the gauge and the lighting separately.
Does it also fit a Strada EP or X?
The fit is confirmed for the Strada AV. Send us the serial number and we'll check it for your machine.
How can I tell whether the housing rather than the gauge is defective?
If the needle reads correctly and only the bezel is damaged, this part is enough. If the needle shows the wrong value or doesn't move, the problem is the pressure gauge.
Can I replace it myself?
To do so, the front has to be opened and the pressure gauge removed. We recommend a qualified professional.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
