Rotary handle cap without logo for Rocket Appartamento and Bicocca – the plain version
The cap closes off the top of the rotary handle on the steam and water valve. This version has no lettering: a smooth surface without a logo, for anyone who prefers a calm look on their machine. It does not change how the valve works; it covers the handle and gives it its outline.
Our documentation lists this cap for the TCA generation Appartamento and for the Bicocca. The part number is A299908564.
When it's due
It's due if it has been lost, if it has cracked or chipped at an edge, or if it no longer sits securely on the handle. It most often goes missing during cleaning.
The second reason isn't damage but taste: if you want to switch from the logo version to the plain one, you simply swap the cap. The handle underneath stays the same.

Who it's for
For anyone with a TCA generation Appartamento or a Bicocca whose cap is missing or damaged – and for anyone who prefers a plain surface to a visible logo.
Also as a simple replacement after a cleaning session in which the original cap disappeared. It costs little and makes the handle complete again.
What goes with it
The version with lettering is the rotary handle cap with logo – the same part, just with the R on top, and listed for the Appartamento.
The handle underneath is the rotary handle for Appartamento TCA and Bicocca. For other model series we carry the rotary handle for R58, Mozzafiato and Appartamento and the rotary handle for Cellini and Giotto along with its matching cap.

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our workshop routine in Bern and Zurich: when we clean the valve area, we put the cap in a small dish next to the machine rather than on the drip tray. Most caps that get reordered aren't faulty, they have simply disappeared. This is our own observation, not a manufacturer specification.
Once everything on the handle is back in place, fresh beans are worth it too. From our roastery, on the Appartamento and the Bicocca we like Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, and for maximum body without acidity Very Nutty. All roasts under coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check your machine's model, year of manufacture and serial number – or drop us a short message and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
