Rocket Espresso has been manufactured in Milan since 2007 – each machine by hand. Models such as Appartamento, Mozzafiato, Giotto, and R Cinquantotto (R58) are built for longevity: with good maintenance, they will accompany you for many years, and spare parts and the service network are available long-term. Spare parts and maintenance components

Wear parts around the E61 brew group are part of normal maintenance. In stock: the original Rocket brew group gasket (fits E61 brew groups, also suitable for Bezzera, Faema, and Gaggia), shower screen, blind filter for backflushing, O-ring for the steam nozzle, and steam nozzles for R58/R60 in 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm – individually with gasket or as a set. Also rotary knobs for steam and water, with or without covers and also in wood (pear wood, chestnut, black walnut), as well as springs for the portafilter.

Portafilters, Baskets, and Water Tanks

When it comes to portafilters, you have a choice: The Rocket Original Bottomless fits perfectly and comes with a double filter, the universal design is the slimmer alternative, and the Normcore Bottomless Portafilter 58 mm is a high-quality option for the E61 mount. We stock model-specific water tanks – one version for Giotto/Cellini (old), one for the R Cinquantotto, and one for the other current models. If you are unsure, the serial number will help.

Workflow, Cups and Customization

For daily routine: Rocket tamper mats (square or flat), magnetic dosing funnels, the 2-in-1 distributor with leveler, the Rocket tamper, as well as knock box and knock drawer. The cup sets are available for espresso, cappuccino, and flat white – classic or in the #Rocketpeople edition – plus the Competition series pitchers in sand finishes (sand copper and sand black, in 35 cl and 60 cl). If you want to make your machine a real eye-catcher, you'll find wooden upgrades from Specht Design, such as the Cinquantotto Wood Kit.

Rocket's own grinders

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the spare parts original Rocket?

Yes. As an authorized Swiss partner for Rocket, we carry original spare parts directly from the manufacturer – brew group gasket, rotary knobs, water tanks, portafilters, and grinding discs. For portafilters, there is also a cheaper universal design as an alternative.

How often do I need to change the brew group gasket?

Typically every one to two years with normal home use – or when water leaks from the brew group next to the portafilter during brewing. The original Rocket brew group gasket also fits Bezzera, Faema, and Gaggia with an E61 brew group. We can coordinate the replacement upon request.

Which water tank fits my model?

There are three variants: one for Giotto/Cellini (old), one for the R Cinquantotto, and one for the other current models. If you are unsure, tell us your model and serial number – we will then clarify the correct variant.

Rocket Original Bottomless or Universal Portafilter?

The Rocket Original Bottomless comes with a double filter, fits perfectly and is consistent with the design. The universal design is the slimmer, cheaper alternative and also technically fits. The Normcore 58 mm is a high-quality variant for the E61 mount of Rocket machines.

Which steam nozzle for the R58/R60?

For R58 and R60, we carry steam nozzles in 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm, each with a gasket, as well as a set. A smaller bore provides finer, more controlled steam, a larger bore more steam power. We would be happy to discuss which one suits your milk volume.

Can I view the original parts before purchasing?

Yes, in the showrooms in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon. We show the original components directly and advise on compatibility with your Rocket model.
