Rocket Portafilter Double Spout, Complete with Filter Basket
Original Rocket portafilter with two spouts and filter basket, for Rocket machines with a 58 mm portafilter mount. As a replacement or as a second portafilter, available in Bern and Zurich.
The portafilter holds the coffee puck against the brewing pressure, seals against the group gasket and splits the espresso between two spouts. It is in use every day and is therefore the first part of the brew group to show wear: the bayonet lugs wear in, the filter basket loses its shape, a spout breaks off after a fall.
Clean first, then replace
If the espresso runs unevenly or only from one spout, coffee oils and limescale are often clogging the basket holes. Hold the filter basket up to the light: if not all holes are open, a cleaning soak and a backflush usually solve it. You will find cleaning agents and brushes under Machine and grinder cleaning.
A new portafilter makes sense when it no longer sits firmly in the group, the filter basket is deformed, a spout is missing or the portafilter no longer sits flat after a fall. Or when you want a second portafilter to prepare two shots back to back.

No returns
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced per order and cannot be resold after installation or a fitting on the machine. Please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or send us a short message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Is a filter basket included?
Yes, a filter basket is included in the scope of delivery. The coffee dose it is designed for is not stated in our documentation.
Can I also pull single shots with the double-spout portafilter?
Yes. If you regularly pull single shots, you will also find the single-spout portafilter under Rocket accessories and spare parts.
Do I need to adjust anything after the change?
Not on the portafilter itself, it is simply inserted. A new, clean filter basket can change the flow. Adjust the grind in small steps and go by the weight ratio, not the time. For espresso, 1:2 is a good starting point.
Can I see the product before buying?
You can see Rocket Espresso machines live in our showroom in Bern (Gerberngasse 44). Whether the portafilter is on site in Bern or in Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b), we are happy to confirm by email in advance at [email protected].
