Spare Parts and Accessories for Aeropress
Buy AeroPress Accessories and Spare Parts Switzerland
AeroPress was invented in 2005 by Alan Adler, the designer behind Aerobie, in California, and has been a classic for travel and outdoor coffee ever since. The principle combines immersion and filter pressure: grounds into the chamber, add hot water, attach the filter, press the plunger – a clean cup in under two minutes. Robust, portable, and easy to use. Coffee Coaching Club carries the matching accessories and spare parts range.
Spare Parts
The replacement filter cap is the rotating holder into which the filter paper is clamped. The replacement rubber seal sits on the plunger and wears out over time – if it shows cracks or no longer seals cleanly when pressing, it should be replaced. Both parts can be changed yourself in seconds.
Reusable Metal Filters
Three metal filters replace the paper: the AeroPress stainless steel filter (standard), the AeroPress XL stainless steel filter for the larger XL, and the E&B Metal Filter Superfine with a particularly fine mesh that comes close to the clarity of a paper filter – with reusable material and no paper waste.
Flow Control Filter Cap
The AeroPress Flow Control filter cap adds a valve to the standard cap. It holds the water in the chamber until you release it – making longer steep times and the inverted brew workflow more stable, without water running through prematurely. Designed for a specialty-focused workflow, not essential for classic use.
Outdoor – Hario Zebrang
For on the go, two Hario Zebrang items complement the AeroPress: the Coffee Canister (50 g) for transporting pre-portioned beans and the insulated tumbler with lid and strainer for brewing directly. Ideal for camping, travel, or the office.
Stainless Steel Filter or Paper Filter?
The paper filter delivers a very clean cup and also holds back oils – more clarity, ideal for light roasts. The stainless steel filter lets more oils through: more body, slightly less clarity, but reusable and waste-free. Both have their place – our assessment, one of many.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do I need to replace the rubber seal?
When it visibly shows cracks or no longer seals cleanly when pressing – with normal use, after a few years. The replacement rubber seal is easy to change yourself.
Is the Flow Control filter cap worth it?
For longer steep times and a more stable inverted brew, yes – the valve holds the water until you release it. For classic AeroPress use, it is not essential.
E&B Superfine or AeroPress stainless steel?
The AeroPress stainless steel filter has a coarser mesh and gives more body. The E&B Metal Filter Superfine is finer and brings more clarity, closer to the paper-filter profile. For a clear filter brew, the E&B; for more body, the standard stainless steel.
How do I clean the metal filters?
Rinse warm after each brew, occasionally clean more thoroughly with dish soap or a cleaning solution. For longer storage, keep dry to prevent corrosion.
What is the Hario Zebrang for with the AeroPress?
The Canister (50 g) holds the pre-portioned beans for on the go; the insulated tumbler with strainer allows brewing without an additional device. Handy for camping, travel, or the office.
