AeroPress XL Stainless Steel Filter – reusable, grade 316 steel
The big puck drops into the bin, the filter goes under the tap and then dries next to the carafe. The AeroPress stainless steel filter replaces the paper filter in the AeroPress XL.
AeroPress makes it from grade 316 stainless steel. It lets more coffee oils through than paper and holds back the grounds. The cup gets fuller in body, paper gives a cleaner cup. Which one you prefer is up to you. Our opinion is one of many.
The filter is made for the larger filter cap of the XL. According to AeroPress it fits the XL only. For Original, Clear, Go and the other models there is the stainless steel filter in standard size.
