Spare parts and accessories Aram Espresso
Buy Aram Espresso Accessories and Spare Parts Switzerland
Aram is a manual espresso brewer from Curitiba, Brazil – handcrafted from stainless steel and wood, each piece unique, and completely electricity-free. Instead of a pump, a hand crank moves a piston in a vertical glass cylinder; you control the pressure by the speed of the movement. The Aram works with a 53mm portafilter (double basket 18–22g, compatible with any standard 53mm basket), an 80ml water chamber, and reaches up to 14 bar. The portafilter is fully removable and easy to clean – making the Aram popular for travel and outdoor setups as well as for minimalist brewing at home.
Coffee Coaching Club carries Aram in Switzerland, along with the complete range of accessories and spare parts: springs and mechanics, gaskets and glass, baskets and shower screen, tampers and dosing funnels.
Spare Parts – Mechanics, Gaskets, Glass
Mechanical wear is covered by the spring for the filter basket, the spacer for the crank, the clamp, and the nut for the screw thread. For sealing, there's the flat gasket ring individually or the complete gasket set. The removable 100ml collection glass can be replaced individually if broken, and the shower screen distributes water evenly over the puck.
Baskets and Tampers
The Aram comes with a basket as standard; upgrades include the Aram 12g basket (CCC own brand) and the Aram 2-cup basket with IMS precision basket (18g). IMS from Italy manufactures its baskets very precisely, which promotes a more even extraction. For tamping, you have the choice between the compact Baby Tamper and the precisely crafted Aram Ultimatum Tamper (53mm) – which one is right is a matter of taste; both tamp cleanly.
Visualize Pressure – Aram Focus
With the Aram, you control the pressure via the speed of the crank. The Aram Focus Pressure Gauge makes this pressure visible, allowing you to control it more precisely and reproduce it from shot to shot. For those who want to calibrate their shots more finely – our assessment, one of many.
Cleaning
The Aram is designed for easy maintenance. After brewing, remove the portafilter, discard the grounds, and rinse; clean the shower screen and gasket with an ILSA group brush or the CCC group brush with a wooden handle. Since the portafilter is fully removable, you can access all parts. The Aram does not need a backflush – it does not have a pressure relief valve for it. Removable parts can be soaked in a cleaning solution if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Aram work?
A hand crank moves a piston in a vertical glass cylinder. You control the pressure by the speed of the movement; the Aram reaches up to 14 bar, works with a 53mm portafilter, and operates completely without electricity.
Which basket fits the Aram?
The Aram uses standard 53mm baskets. It comes with a double basket (18–22g) as standard; an upgrade is the Aram 2-cup basket with IMS precision basket (18g) for more even extraction.
How do I clean the Aram?
Remove the portafilter, discard the grounds, rinse; clean the shower screen and gasket with a group brush. The Aram does not need a backflush, as it does not have a pressure relief valve. Removable parts can be soaked in a cleaning solution if necessary.
Baby Tamper or Ultimatum Tamper?
Both are 53mm. The Baby Tamper is the compact, more affordable option, while the Ultimatum Tamper is precisely crafted. Which one fits better is a matter of taste – you can tamp cleanly with both.
What does the Aram Focus Pressure Gauge do?
It makes the brewing pressure visible. Since you control the pressure on the Aram via the crank speed, the pressure gauge helps you to control it precisely and reproduce it from shot to shot.
