What is the Red Clix for?

The Red Clix (CHF 44.45) is a precision click mechanism for Comandante C40 that divides grind adjustment into finer steps. A standard C40 has 30 clicks per rotation; with Red Clix, the resolution increases to 50 clicks per rotation – important for espresso focus, where finer grind increments are crucial.

What can the Black Crank XL do?

The Comandante Black Crank XL (CHF 49.95) is a longer crank for C40. Advantage: less effort per bean, faster grinding (typically 20–30% less time), more ergonomic cranking motion. Very useful for regular home use with over 20g of grounds.

Comandante C40 or C60 Baracuda?

C40 (CHF 258.50): the established specialty class. C60 Baracuda (CHF 599.95–899.95): the premium class with a larger 60mm burr set, higher grinding speed, and limited design studio variants (Nautilus Blue, Stone Washed, Velvet Steel). How do I clean a hand grinder?

Regularly tap off the burr set with the included brush. No water in the burr set! For deeper cleaning every 2–3 months: disassemble the grinder, clean the burr set with a dry cloth or compressed air.
