Varia VS4 - Single Dosing Coffee Grinder

The Varia VS4 is a modern, high-end single-dose coffee grinder that offers maximum precision, exceptional control, and a sensorially brilliant coffee experience. It was developed for enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their beans – whether for espresso, hybrid setups, or filter coffee.

The distinctive 76.5° architecture optimizes coffee flow, reduces retention, and ensures an extremely stable structure. Made from high-grade aerospace-grade aluminum and CNC-machined with a tolerance of only 10 to 20 micrometers, the VS4 is exceptionally robust and durable, and thanks to its fully anodized interior surfaces, virtually free from adhesion and wear. It is available in black, white, silver, sand, or rose gold.

The 53 mm 6-core conical burr grinder made of hardened stainless steel delivers outstanding particle uniformity. The stepless 10-micron adjustment system allows for ultra-precise adjustments, while micro-calibration permits a zero-point shift of ±20 micrometers. With its future-proof burr interface, you are optimally prepared for upcoming burr grinders.

Inside, a powerful 200-watt BLDC motor maintains a constant speed between 150 and 300 revolutions per minute – with a deviation of only ±1.5 percent. The precision planetary gear system and dual-bearing drive system ensure perfectly aligned grinding components and a smooth, consistent grinding result.

The world's first single-body grinding chamber reduces retention to a minimum thanks to its anodized, smooth surface. The electrodynamic flow geometry minimizes static charge by more than 90 percent and guides the ground material cleanly and without lumps out of the chamber.

– Espresso: 0.00 to 0.06 g

– Filter: 0.00 to 0.02 g

Thanks to the true single-dose system with precision bellows, the mill remains completely residue-free.

Thanks to the patented Quick-Connect system, you can open the grinding chamber in less than a second – completely without tools. The modular design allows you to remove the entire grinder as a single unit. A safety circuit automatically cuts off the power supply as soon as the chamber is removed.

Power is supplied via a 100–240 V input, which is converted into a permanently stable 24 V DC system. The VS4 also offers automatic shut-off when the chamber is empty and comprehensive thermal protection.
