You set the Lagom Mini 2 on the counter, it takes up barely more space than a coffee tin, and yet there's astonishing grinding power packed inside. The magnetic catch cup clicks cleanly into place, and the ground powder lands exactly where it should, no spilling. Compact enough for any kitchen and light enough to travel with.
Inside, 48 mm Mizen 48MS conical burrs do the work. They deliver an even grind profile with low retention, so little old powder is left behind and the freshness of your coffee is preserved – a noticeable difference in the cup. The grind size is steplessly adjustable: fine for espresso, coarser for filter coffee, whatever your brew method calls for.
It's driven by a DC motor rated for over 600 hours of operation. Power comes via USB-C with a PD3.0-compatible adapter – which makes it especially travel-friendly. For 18 g of filter coffee it takes about 15 to 30 seconds, for 18 g of espresso around 45 to 60 seconds. Whether such a compact grinder is right for you is your call. Our opinion is one of many.
