Frequently asked questions about the Lagom P80

Flat burrs or conical burrs – which is better?

This isn't a question of quality, but rather a matter of taste. Flat burrs (like in the P80) provide more body, more creaminess, more texture. Conical burrs (like in the Varia VS6 ) provide more clarity, more definition, more complexity. The P80 is perfect if you love body – velvety cappuccinos, creamy espressos, full textures.

Is it really that quiet?

Yes. The P80 is significantly quieter than most grinders. You can grind at 6 a.m. without waking anyone. The quiet hum is more soothing than disturbing – that's Swedish design thinking.

Can I use them for filter coffee and espresso?
