Coffee contains over 800 compounds, some of which settle over time as a fine film in the drip tray. A tray with cracks or leaks lets moisture reach places it shouldn't – the counter surface or the inside of the machine. The original replacement from Rocket Espresso restores a tight seal and can be easily removed and cleaned.
