Rocket Giotto FAST R and V – heat exchanger with fast heat-up
Buy the Rocket Giotto FAST in Switzerland: heat exchanger with PID, OLED display and first shot after around 12 minutes. Showrooms in Bern and Zurich.
The Giotto FAST is a heat exchanger machine from Rocket Espresso in Milan and the evolution of the Giotto, the first model Rocket brought to market. Rocket designed it for fast heat-up: according to the manufacturer, the first shot is possible after around 12 minutes on average, depending on water temperature and surroundings. It comes as the R with a rotary pump and as the V with a vibration pump, available from us in black and chrome. Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Rocket Espresso.
Features of the Giotto FAST
Fast heat-up
With the fast heat-up technology, Rocket states that the first shot is possible after around 12 minutes on average, depending on water temperature and ambient conditions.
Shot timer display and PID control
The OLED display shows the shot time, manages machine settings such as boiler temperature and reports errors.
Dual pressure gauge
Two gauges show pump and boiler pressure. According to Rocket, keeping an eye on both pressures helps avoid over- or under-extraction.
Ready indicator
An indicator changes colour as soon as the machine is ready to brew.
Minimalist taps
The redesigned water and steam taps follow the design language of the current Rocket models.
Design philosophy
The side panels are built from polygons that look different depending on how the light falls. A triangle is missing from the upper side panel, creating its own colour pattern. According to Rocket, the design is by V12.

Tip from the roastery: For espresso and milk drinks, we recommend dense, full-bodied roasts such as Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. For maximum body without acidity: Very Nutty. For a fruity discovery: Wild Peach. As a starting point, we recommend a ratio of 1:2 by weight and adjust to taste from there. That is our recommendation, one of many.
