Rhino Classic Milk Pitcher – lightweight stainless steel pitcher in 360, 600 and 950 ml

The Rhino Classic milk pitcher is made of 0.7 mm food-grade stainless steel in a classic bell shape. The thin wall keeps the weight down: the 360 ml version weighs around 163 g. You can buy it in Switzerland from Coffee Coaching Club, with Click & Collect in Bern and Zürich.

The stainless steel is bare and uncoated, inside and out. The spout comes to a point, the handle is open and angular. The Classic has no volume markings; those are on the Rhino Pro. You can find all models of the brand under Rhino.

    Latte Art

If you can pour, you can pour latte art with almost any pitcher. The shape of the spout shifts the possibilities in the details: a narrow, pointed spout allows finer lines, such as multi-tier tulips, sharp rosetta leaves, etching-style outlines or swans. The pitchers from Normcore and Dario Pieber are known for this. A wider spout gives a calmer milk stream.

The Classic has a classic, pointed spout without an extended tip. Heart, tulip and rosetta are a matter of technique, not of the pitcher.

    Care

Uncoated stainless steel is dishwasher safe. Rinse briefly with warm water right after steaming, so no milk residue dries on.

    Who it's made for

For anyone looking for a light pitcher for daily use, at home or behind the counter. Our advice tool narrows down which espresso machine suits your milk needs; you can find the machines themselves under espresso machines. All pitchers in different sizes, colours and spout shapes are in the Barista Milk Pitchers collection.

    Frequently asked questions

How does the Rhino Classic differ from the Rhino Pro?

The Classic has a wall thickness of 0.7 mm and no inner markings. The Pro is made of 1 mm stainless steel and has etched markings in ml and oz on the inside. This makes the Classic lighter: around 163 g compared with around 211 g at 360 ml.

    Which size suits my cup?

360 ml (12 oz) is enough for one milk drink such as a cappuccino or flat white. 600 ml (20 oz) suits a large latte or two cappuccinos. 950 ml (32 oz) is meant for several drinks in one go.

Can the Rhino Classic go in the dishwasher?

Yes. The Classic is made of uncoated stainless steel and is dishwasher safe.

Tip from the roastery: In milk drinks, full-bodied espressos with chocolate and nut notes come through most clearly. For this, we roast Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight and Very Nutty in Zürich. That is our recommendation, one of many.
