In an espresso machine, springs are the parts that seal nothing and transport nothing, but do just one thing: they push something back to where it belongs. A valve plug onto its seat, a lever into its rest position, a plunger upwards. As long as they hold their force, nobody notices they are there.
When a spring weakens, it never shows up as a spring problem, but as something else: a valve no longer closes cleanly, a lever no longer returns on its own, something drips somewhere. This item is the spring with part number A999905754.

When we open an assembly with a spring, we lay the old spring next to the new one before we install anything – side by side you see the loss of length immediately, which you would never spot on the removed spring alone. This is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement, and it has already stopped us from throwing away an intact spring and reinstalling a fatigued one.
After that, we do a test brew. Nutty Delight is our benchmark because it reveals irregularities immediately; Cozy Chocolate is the mild alternative, Very Nutty the strong one. Find them all under coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your statutory rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
