Matte black, quiet, with the familiar E61 group up front: the R Cinquantotto is the evolution of the well-known R58. Two separate boilers keep brew and steam temperature independently stable, and a detached touch pod keeps the programming away from the machine.

Who it's for
For anyone who wants separate boilers for maximum temperature control and steam power, and who appreciates the quiet matte black design. For the vast majority, a dual boiler doesn't make measurably better espresso than a good heat exchanger machine – but it gives you more control and handles many cappuccinos with ease. Either you want it, or you don't.

What's the difference from the R58?
The R Cinquantotto is the evolution of the R58, with a redesigned control pod and a more modern look. The core principle – dual boiler with E61 group – stays the same.
Can I charge devices at the pod's USB port?
No. The USB port on the external pod isn't intended for third-party devices – please don't connect anything else to it.
Can I see the machine before buying?
Yes, in our showrooms in Bern and Zurich. Delivery across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein takes 2–4 business days, with click and collect and financing through Heylight both available. For this machine, we recommend picking it up in person.
