In most kitchens and bars, the right side panel has a harder time than the left. That is where the grinder stands, where the portafilter is knocked out, where you put the cup down while reaching for the milk jug. Sooner or later, every one of these movements misses.
Technically, the panel is simple: a sheet of metal covering the interior that houses the boiler, lines and electrics. Visually, it is half of what you see of the machine. This item is the right side panel in black, part number A019908780.
When it is due
A side panel does not wear out, it gets damaged. It is replaced when:
- scratches or chipped paint can no longer be concealed
- a dent or warping remains after an impact
- the panel no longer sits flush against the chassis after a service job
- mounting points are torn out and the panel can no longer be tightened
- corrosion appears on the bottom edge because water stood there for a long time
A panel that sticks out or can no longer be tightened should be replaced – it covers a hot, live area.

Important for installation
Behind the panel are the boiler, hot lines and live parts. Switch off the machine, unplug it and let it cool down completely – only then remove the panel. We deliberately do not give step-by-step instructions here – if you do not know the inside of the machine, have the replacement done by a qualified technician.

Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your statutory rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Is this the left or the right side panel?
The right one. The left side panel in black has the number A019908779 and is a separate item.
How does it differ from the stainless steel version?
Only in the finish. The right stainless steel panel has the number A019908559. Both sit in the same place.
Are screws and panel insert included?
No. The side panel is supplied on its own.
Is this an electrical part?
No. A purely sheet-metal part without any electrical function – but it covers an area with mains voltage, hence the installation note.
Can I look at the part in your showroom?
