Polymer BEAN CELLARS® are designed for use by professional and home baristas as part of a single dosing mill workflow or as individual retail portions for cafe customers.

Each BPA-free, durable polypropylene bean cellar is sealed with Weber Workshops' proprietary one-way valve system, which allows the CO2 from freshly roasted coffee to escape and expels the lighter oxygen from the valve at the top of the cap.

Many customers ask us whether light affects the storage of the beans. The short answer is "no," as long as they are not stored in direct sunlight. Our experience and tests, as well as customer feedback, show that the negative effects of opening and closing a container and the subsequent exposure to fresh air are several orders of magnitude greater in reducing the freshness of the beans than the ambient light in a room.
