The piston of the lever group sits tightly in the cylinder, and that is exactly how it should be. During servicing it still has to come out – to replace the seals, clean the running surface and check the rings. Working with a screwdriver and pliers leaves grooves that later let water past.
This puller tool engages the designated mounting point and pulls the piston out straight. Straight is the key point: if the piston tilts, the cylinder wall suffers. The part number is UT022.

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
We always place the removed piston on a light-coloured cloth and turn it once in the light. Grooves you never see inside the cylinder show up there immediately. That is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. After an overhaul, our first shot is pulled with Nutty Delight – more beans in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
