The panel under the Micra's cup tray
The inner cover sits under the cup tray of the Linea Micra and separates the tray area from the inside of the machine. It keeps crumbs, drips and coffee grounds from working their way down. Part number C.1.672.
You only see it when the tray is removed – and that is exactly when you can tell its age: discolouration from constant heat, limescale rings from overflowing water, sometimes a dent from lifting down a heavy jug.
When it's time to replace it
The panel is bent and the cup tray no longer lies flat. It is heavily discoloured or corroded and can no longer be cleaned properly. A mounting point has torn out. Or it rattles because it no longer sits properly.

Who it's for
For Micra owners who want to put their machine back together cleanly inside during a service, and for workshops that replace a warped panel rather than bending it back.
What goes with it
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich: Once a month we take the cup tray off the Micra and wipe underneath – our own routine, not a manufacturer requirement. A surprising amount of coffee grounds collects there, and damp grounds on warm metal are the fastest way to stains that stay. Afterwards, a cup of Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty from our coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Does it include a heater or electrics?
No. C.1.672 is just a metal panel. Heating elements and electrics are separate parts and belong in professional hands.
Is the cup tray included?
No, only the inner cover underneath is supplied.
Does the panel also fit the Linea Mini?
No. The Linea Mini has its own cover plate – we stock it separately.
Can I replace it myself?
Usually yes, provided the tray is removable. Unplug the machine first and let it cool down.
Can I see the part at your showroom?
Yes, in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b.
