Where the brew group of the LEVA passes through the front panel, there is always a gap. This plastic surround closes it. It carries no water and holds nothing together – it makes sure the edge looks clean and that no ground coffee or milk falls into the gap.
This puts it exactly where most of the action happens: directly above the cup, in the splash zone, and within reach of every cloth. Over time, hot water and cleaning agents make the plastic brittle, the edges become wavy, and at some point a tab breaks off during cleaning – then the ring sits crooked and catches the eye of everyone who orders an espresso.
Replace the surround when it is cracked, broken or has a tab broken out. When it no longer lies flat but sticks out or shifts. When coffee oil has soaked in so deeply that it stays stained even after cleaning. When the plastic has become discoloured, dull or noticeably brittle. And when it had to come out during the last service anyway – it costs little, and when fitted a second time it tends to break.

For anyone who has a LEVA in their café and does not want the detail directly above the cup to look worn. And for workshops that replace the small parts as well when refurbishing a used machine.
Above it sits the Upper front panel LEVA 2-group. Around the brew group, the Brew head gasket for LEVA and the Shower screen for LEVA are part of the usual service package. All LEVA parts under Spare parts La Marzocco LEVA, the rest of the range in the Service parts section.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: at every major cleaning, we take the plastic surround off and put it in warm water with a little coffee grease remover for ten minutes – that removes the brownish film you no longer even notice on the installed surround because it builds up over months. Once you have done this once or twice, you can see immediately when cleaning is no longer worth it and a new part is due. The first shot afterwards we pull with Nutty Delight, more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, bold with Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
One. On a two-group machine you need two accordingly if you want to renew both groups.
No. It is a trim part and closes the gap to the front. The brew head gasket seals the group.
The front parts have changed over the years of manufacture. Send us the serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
It sits on the outside of the front, in the immediate vicinity of the hot group. Let the machine cool down first; if in doubt, a specialist will do it at the next service.
Yes. In Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring the old surround with you and we will compare them directly.
